 As an alternative to replacing the concrete Finlock guttering we have developed a gutter liner which can be used on detached or semi detached homes.
We would only recommend the gutter liner if the concrete hasn't sagged or dropped over the existing windows.

 So what makes our gutter liners better or different to any other companies?
Our Finlock gutter liners are individually engineered to fit your existing guttering.(Made to measure and not off the shelf)
They are made from a light weight E.P.D.M Synthetic Rubber Membrane 1.14mm thick which is permanently factory bonded to 0.7mm galvanized steel sheet.
The corners, joints and outlets are also manufactured to the size of your existing Finlock gutter so it fits like a glove.
With the new Finlock gutter liner being made from one sheet it is totally sealed and watertight.
Where the liner meets the existing felt under the tiles there is a back flap that runs up the roof underneath the existing felt preventing the water from entering the inside of the house making it impossible for the damp to return!

Fascias 4 u Midland Limited will also install new felt and extend the felt from the gutter liner under two rows of tiles replacing tile battens to ensure the damp problems go away.
Lining your existing Finlock guttering can be a permanent solution to your damp problems and save you a lot of heartache having to decorate as often as you do.
I do stress that by removing your Finlock guttering this will permanently solve your damp problems and also improve the appearance of your home where as a liner will still show your existing Finlock Guttering.
Being an honest person I do admit that the above process is a little expensive but it is a quality installation and tried and tested.
New Finlock Gutter Liner
Something new to the market is a 2.5mm thick rubber membrane which is bonded to the existing Finlock gutter and taken 500mm up under the tiles in one piece. This membrane comes in ten metre rolls so can line most Finlock Gutters in one piece.
This is a very cost effective way of lining your Finlock Gutter and has a life expectance of Twenty to fifty years but has a Twenty year solid guaranty from the manufacturers.
We will erect a scaffold platform and remove one to two rows of tiles up the roof. This will enable us to get to the heart of the problem.
The Finlock gutter will be cleaned and a bonding agent applied.
Once the glue has gone tacky the rubber liner is installed to all the difficult nooks and crannies.
The rubber membrane comes in a one metre width by ten metres long so the width of the Finlock gutter is immaterial and the excess will be secured up the roof under the original roofing felt providing a water tight installation.
This application is ideal for a semi detached or mid terraced properties and can be applied to metal, concrete, wood and asbestos.
